A full member is generally the cottage owner and includes their immediate family members, partner and children.

An associate member is generally an adult relative of the full member who is a frequent visitor to the Harbour, participates in the Association’s programs, and/or wishes to contribute to the continued stewardship of the area. This membership includes the associate’s partner and children.

Member Information

Your contact information is kept private and is only used to distribute information to you either by regular mail or email. As we embrace more and more technology the use of email becomes ever more useful and economic. If you have an email address please let us know, emails are sent as blind copies so your address is kept confidential. Please keep us informed of address and email changes, returned mail is costly and time consuming.

Membership Renewal

Renewals can be made by cheque or on-line with a Visa or Master Card or by direct debit of your bank account via Interac. If mailing a cheque without the renewal form please write the reference number on the cheque. Please be aware that there are handling fees that we must pay on credit card payments therefore we would prefer to receive any donations by cheque. Finally, please don’t put the renewal form aside until “tomorrow”, following up towards the end of the year is a tedious business.

Winter Patrol

The membership fee for any given year covers one patrol for the Fall/Winter of that year and two patrols for the Winter/Spring of the following year.

The Honey Harbour Association Map

Each Full Member and each Associate Member is entitled to receive a map at no cost. Additional maps may be purchased at a cost of $10.00 each for members and $15.00 each for non members. The maps are produced on a stout paper and cannot be mailed economically. Maps will be available for pick-up from the Schoolhouse over the May 24 weekend and at the AGM. Or give us a call.

Membership Directory

We received sparse response to this topic last year. However, we will continue, albeit slowly, in putting together a Membership Directory.

Pleasure Craft Operator Card

Time has run out, if you drive a boat you need a card. We understand that a zero tolerance approach will be in force which could be quite expensive. Please beware.

Environment Friendly Housekeeping

We continue to strive to keep our water pure. Please ensure your septic systems are in order and use environment friendly products at all times.
