Honey Harbour Day Camp 2010
The 2009 summer season at the Honey Harbour Day Camp was an unbelievable success with over 100 children attending throughout the summer. Lead by our outstanding lead counselor, Christine Luubert and her supporting YMCA Camp Kitchikewana counselors, the kids enjoyed a fantastic and fun filled summer!
In 2010 we will be continuing our partnership with the YMCA Camp Kitchikewana to bring the best leadership and planning to our camp. Camp registration is open to children ages 4 – 15 who are members of the Honey Harbour Association, guests of HHA members and non-members. Last year we saw a huge increase in camp registration and had to close off our registration for several weeks. We want to ensure that we have the appropriate counselor/camper ratio and to do that it is always beneficial for you to register your child early. In addition if you know of guests that would like to attend camp please try to register those children as far in advance as possible so as not to be disappointed.
Camp will be running from July 5 – August 27 between the hours of 10am – 3pm (half day program 10-12:30 for 4 year olds).
Thank you to everyone who has been so generous in providing gently used equipment to the camp. We are always in need of and appreciate for the donation of junior/senior paddles, canoes, fishing equipment and junior tennis racquets. Please consider donating these items to our camp during your spring cottage clean up and we would be most appreciative.
